Delete your Deara account
You can delete your Deara account, or individual memories, from the app.
From the app
- Open Deara and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Tap Continue to delete, then confirm with Delete my account.
What happens next
Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion. You can change your mind within 30 days by signing back in. After that, your account, every archive you own and everything in them, including anything your family members added and your scheduled future deliveries, are permanently deleted.
If you no longer have the app
Email support@deara.app from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it.
Delete some of your data without deleting your account
Memories you wrote, together with the photos, videos and voice recordings attached to them, can be deleted one at a time in the app: open the memory and delete it.
For anything else, email support@deara.app from the email address on your account and tell us what you want deleted.
Records we are legally required to keep, such as purchase records, are kept only as long as the law requires. Memories you added to another person's archive stay in that archive, as described in our Privacy Policy.
